When small nerves in your neck get pinched, pain can run into your shoulders, down your arms, and even into your hands if the pinch is bad enough. On x-ray, we can see the little holes between the spinal bones, and sometimes they appear much smaller in certain places. This is usually where nerves can get trapped.
