Decreasing Our Reliance on Medications

Decreasing Our Reliance on Medications

As a community, we have become far too reliant on medications and surgery for our health concerns. This has led to an overburdened system, with long wait-lists to see specialists and very little investment in prevention. The only way to relieve those 12-to-18-month wait-lists for surgery, and avoid the often dangerous side effects of drugs, is to help people avoid the health problem in the first place.

Thankfully, we are in the midst of a wellness revolution where patients like you are looking for new options.

A large percentage of patients visit their GP because of some kind of pain. Many of these people will be given painkillers, anti-inflammatories and/or muscle relaxants. These can have problematic side-effects, and when they no longer work to take the pain away, more invasive measures are required.

But many of these pain-based issues can be helped by chiropractors, physiotherapists, massage therapists, acupuncturists, and other therapies, especially if caught early. Arise Wellness Centre was created to help our community, and our children, live healthier lives, with less reliance on medications.

Our focus is simple, really: Think, eat, and move well. Let's face it-with a strong trust in your body's healing power, a well-aligned spine, and body, whole, plant-based food choices, and a love for yourself and others, many health problems can be prevented or drastically improved. The professionals at Arise Chiropractic and Wellness are here to help guide you along this path.
