SPINAL DECOMPRESSION

Our mission is to help as many people as possible achieve super-charged health. We aim to provide our community with safe and effective options for the treatment of low-back and neck pain caused by disc and spinal disorders. Non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is a great alternative to drugs and surgery for the treatment of various spinal disorders. What Spinal Decompression Therapy Can Help Treat:

  • Disc bulges or disc herniations
  • Degenerative Disc Disease
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Sciatica
  • Facet syndrome
  • Low-back pain and neck pain, with pain radiating into the arms or legs
    Previous Spinal Surgery

Yes, Spinal Decompression Therapy can also help those who have had an unsuccessful back surgery, providing the pain relief needed to return to a normal, productive lifestyle.

Health Benefits with Disc Decompression Care

Here are some of the many benefits patients often have:

  • Relaxes surrounding soft tissues of your spine
  • Helps to stimulate disc healing and retract disc bulges with gentle negative vacuum pressure
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Pain relief
  • Helps to reduce muscle spasms and relaxes stiff, fibrous muscles
  • Flushes injured tissue with more nutrients

What to Expect

Most patients describe the decompression traction as relaxing and comfortable. The table exerts a gentle pull that is specific to your body mass, distracting your spinal discs and creating a suction that rehydrates and draws nutrients back into the discs. With the pressure removed, your spinal nerves are allowed to “breathe” again. They are stimulated to heal and to communicate as they were intended. Research shows that bulging discs can draw back in, and, over time, the surrounding soft tissues can actually strengthen and recover.

Treatment times last approximately 30 minutes.

You may be advised to receive scheduled chiropractic care and/or massage therapy sessions in addition to your time on the table. A care program will be created to specifically address your individual body needs and disc problem.

And because we give our patients 150% of our expertise to stimulate healing, we expect 100% back. Specific stretches and exercises will be outlined for you to do at home daily. True, lasting changes can only happen when the surrounding soft tissues are reconditioned and strengthened. We can’t do these for you!

Finally, please follow your Doctor’s recommendations closely and review our office policy. It is there to ensure you improve to the highest degree possible. We are honored to be able to help you and look forward to amazing improvements to your spinal health.
