Dr. Elliot Lysyk

Chiropractor / Owner

My name is Dr. Elliot Lysyk. With the help of my partner, Alana, I have built an amazing chiropractic practice filled with lovely families from around Vernon. Previously I practiced in Ireland, where we lived for 4 years before settling back in Canada. I love to travel, having visited over 30 countries and enjoying many cultural experiences along the way.

Dr. James Mayne

Chiropractor

My name is Dr. James Mayne. I grew up in the Okanagan, and I couldn’t be happier about serving the Vernon community after years of living abroad. The ski hills, beaches, friendly neighbours, and lack of bumper-to-bumper traffic make this area one of the most attractive places in the world to live. My wife, Brooke, and I chose Vernon as the perfect community to raise a family as well as operate a chiropractic clinic.

Dr. Deane Studer

Chiropractor

Dr. Deane Studer received his Doctorate of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree in 1993 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, the home and the college of the founder of Chiropractic. After completing his degree, he moved to Seattle, Washington. During his 13 years in Seattle, Deane gained his experience working in several clinics, and in 1997, took ownership of Seattle Chiropractic Health Center until 2005.

Midwifery

Carrie Sizer

RN, BA (Hons)

After qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1996 I worked in an emergency department for two years. Throughout this time I knew that I wanted to explore other options and this is when a friend suggested that I would be a great midwife. So not really knowing much about midwifery I set off on what turned out to be the best career and life choice ever, graduating with a BA (Hons) Midwifery from University of York, UK in 1998. Little did I know how much I would love midwifery!
